Authenticom Growth Honored for Third Consecutive Year

Inc. magazine ranked Authenticom #1318 an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies on its 33rd annual Inc. 500|5000. Authenticom is one of the top automotive software companies in America. In 2010 Authenticom had revenue of $3.7 million dollars and in 2013 it reached a staggering $15.6 million dollars. Authenticom had an outstanding 3-year growth of 326%.

President and CEO Steve Cottrell founded Authenticom in 2002. Steve has more than 30 years of experience in the Automotive Industry including 15 years specializing in automotive e-commerce. Over the past decade, Steve has built Authenticom into a successful, multi-million dollar enterprise. The company integrates with 75 dealer management systems and connects with over 18,500 automotive dealerships across North America. They process and manage 10 million records daily. 

Authenticom is a major employer in La Crosse, WI with over 96 full time employees. They have added 69 jobs in the previous three years. In 2014, Inc. 5000 ranks Authenticom #16 in the Top Companies in Wisconsin.

Authenticom headquarters is located in historic downtown La Crosse, WI, in the Doerflinger Building on corner of Fourth and Main Street. The Doerflinger Building had it’s grand opening in April 27, 1904 as home of the Doerflinger Department Store. Over 100 years later it is the home of Authenticom, a cutting edge software and technology corporation. The entire 3rd floor of the Doerflinger Building has been transformed into sleek modern offices, which still preserve the historical details of the building. The IT department and computer servers are located in the mezzanine level, the former home of the Doerflinger Tea Room. Authenticom is growing and is taking over the entire 4th floor.  They are currently remodeling and adding more offices and meeting rooms while preserving the exposed brick, beams and building charter. Authenticom also has several employees and sales people located in other cities across the United States.

The annual Inc. 5000 event honoring all the companies on the list will be held from October 15 through 17, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ. Speakers include some of the greatest entrepreneurs of this and past generations, such as Michael Dell, Martha Stewart, Marcus Lemonis the host of the CNBC show “The Profit”, Container Store Founder and CEO Kip Tindell, and Chobani Founder and CEO Hamdi Ulukaya.
