Clarification of the AQ matching process

This is a high level (summary) view of the AQ matching process.  It is provided for a better understanding of what AQ considers an excellent match or not.

  1. When AQ receives data, it attempts to match the prospect name with the phone number.
    1. If there is no match, the first name is truncated to the first character of the first name and attempted to match
    2. If there is still no match, the middle initial (if provided) is used to attempt a match. (last name, middle as first name)
    3. If there is still no match, then only the last name and phone number are used to attempt a match.
  2. If no match was previously found, the address is parsed to find the specific address (how specific is dependent upon a few parameters):
    1. All matching addresses are searched with the first and last name of the prospect to attempt a match.
    2. If there is still no match, the first name is truncated to the first character of the first name and attempted to match.
    3. If there is still not match, the middle initial (if provided) is used to attempt a match. (last name, middle as first name)
    4. If there is still no match, then only the last name and address(es) are used to attempt a match.

If a match is found under these conditions, it is considered a good match, with the highest level of confidence. The matching process is designed for validation of the information provided by the prospect data. If the first name is of primary importance, then your application can choose to ignore the data, if no matching first name was found.
