Authenticom DMS Integration (data extraction and data delivery) can be provided using any of these connection methods:

• FTP (File Transfer Protocol)

Our preferred connection is AuthentiLink, which allows efficient delivery of data services to you through a secure connection between a Windows PC at each dealer location and the Authenticom Polling Servers.¹

DATA SECURITY

Data extraction and delivery in the DMS Integration process oftentimes raises questions of data security.  Two of the most secure access methods to your data is via AuthentiLink and Virtual Private Network (VPN).  Authenticom accesses this data during the DMS Integration process that establishes a link between your network and our servers.  Data security is our highest priority at Authenticom.  We make every effort to ensure your DMS data is not compromised during collection, processing, and delivery.

Two FTP options are also available.  We offer both secure FTP/S using SSH with 128-bit encryption as well as standard FTP.

NETWORK SECURITY

Authenticom’s network infrastructure incorporates a dual firewall system to protect your data.  State-of-the art network monitoring and intrusion prevention software is incorporated to provide protection against both external and internal threats.  Systems are regularly updated with software security updates as well as firmware updates to ensure they are at the most current security patch levels.

Anti-virus software is installed and active across the entire enterprise.  Virus definitions are updated on a daily basis.  All incoming files are scanned and full system scans are also run on a daily basis.
