Phone Append

Our telephone data set is comprised of both public and private information for the United States and Canada.  The United States data set consists of over 400 million unique residential and business telephone numbers.  A key deferential with our service is that this telephone data set is updated multiple times daily and subject to regular validation.  The data set is comprised of over 270 million residential numbers, over 120 million cell phone numbers, and over 120 million business numbers.  The data set is comprised of and compiled from verified telephone service provider numbers, including daily directory assistance transactions.  Directory assistance accounts for approximately 90 million unique phone numbers or approximately one quarter of our data set.  The remaining portion of our data set is a compilation of service provider verified telephone numbers and names with a separate verification process for the name and address linkage using Persistent ID capabilities.  By verifying each number against the service provider database, we are able to say with confidence that the name attached to the phone number is the name on the phone bill and the person identified is an adult.  In addition, the Canadian data set currently consists of over 15 million unique residential and business telephone numbers.  These files continue to grow and have increased approximately 500,000 unique records per month.

In recent tests, this data set has produced match rates of 15%+ better matching totals than the closest competitors.  The other key measurement that differentiates this data set is "Right Party Right Number" accuracy.  In recent tests of over 10,000 records, Authenticomâ„¢'s data set returned only 1% questionable or reported bad numbers.  Because our competitor's files are largely compiled from "White Page" listings or "Household" records that are subject to much lower validation standards, their files returned between 15% and 20% bad numbers.  The reason our data set performs so much better than our competitor's file is the proprietary "Near Real-Time" collection methods used in establishing and updating the data set.  Authenticomâ„¢ is the only information provider going to the extreme measure of verifying each number against the telephone service provider database to ensure the highest quality.  Other vendor's data typically is months old before it is even published and most numbers in their files are only re-verified yearly or never re-verified at all.
